How does a performance work?
I arrive about an hour before the start to scope out the room, set up my things and greet the family — you have nothing to organise. I then welcome the children and move into an interactive show where they are the magicians: they blow, they touch, and they watch sweets appear in their own hands. I finish with a colourful grand finale, right before the cake. I stay a minimum of 2 hours on site (I don't travel for less), split between the show and close-up magic tricks.
How much does a magician cost for a children's birthday?
The price depends on the number of children, the venue and the desired length. I work on a free, no-obligation quote: tell me the date, the town (Paris or the Île-de-France region) and the children's ages, and I'll reply within 24 to 48 hours with a clear proposal.
What does the magic show include?
A 100% interactive show where the children take part from start to finish: sweets appearing, objects changing colour, funny predictions and a grand finale they'll still be talking about the next day. It's all designed for ages 4 to 10, set in my candy universe, while staying funny for the watching parents.
From what age?
From age 4. There's no minimum age for parents either — but they always end up raising their hand when I ask for a volunteer.
How long does the show last?
It depends! On site, I stay a minimum of 2 hours (I don't travel for less), split between the show and close-up magic tricks. The seated "show" portion usually lasts 30 to 45 minutes depending on the children's age, and I work out the rest with you at the quote stage. And if the children don't want me to leave, we figure something out.
What space should we plan for?
A clear corner, children seated, no chandelier hanging too low. As for the sweets that appear — I'll take care of that.
Do you perform at home and across the Île-de-France region?
Yes. At home, in a venue, in a garden. As long as there are children, sweets, and not too much wind.
Will the children leave the show with cavities?
No sweets are eaten during the show. They just leave with an irresistible urge to eat one.
Do you need to like sweets to watch the show?
That seems essential to me. But who doesn't like sweets?
Is sugar the meaning of life?
According to some scientists, life didn't start with water — it started with sugar. We won't argue with that.
Are there any side effects?
A slight addiction to magic and a sudden urge to eat sweets. Nothing serious.
