How does a performance work?
I arrive about an hour beforehand to scope out the venue, set up my things and greet the family — you have nothing to manage. I then circulate doing close-up magic, from the little ones to the grandparents: light, joyful tricks, often on the theme of sugared almonds and sweets. I adapt to the pace of your reception, without ever interrupting the meal or the ceremony. I stay a minimum of 2 hours on site (I don't travel for less).
How much does a magician cost for a christening?
The price depends on the length, the venue and the number of guests. I work on a free, no-obligation quote: tell me the date and the town in the Île-de-France region, and I'll send you a proposal suited to the size of your family, even the big ones.
What kind of magic do you offer for a christening?
Gentle, joyful close-up magic that happens right in your guests' hands. I circulate from the little ones to the grandparents, often on the theme of sugared almonds and sweets, with no stage or setup and without ever interrupting the meal or the ceremony.
Is the magic suitable for very young children?
From age 4, children take full part in my interactive tricks. For babies and toddlers, I mostly play for the adults around them — parents, godparents and grandparents — and they enjoy it just as much as the children. My close-up magic speaks to every age at once, which is what brings the whole family together.
Can you perform during the meal and the cocktail hour?
Yes. It's often best to start with the cocktail hour, then move table to table during the meal. I adapt to your schedule.
How long does the entertainment last?
I plan for a minimum of 2 hours of entertainment. I then adjust based on the size of the group — for a christening, that's plenty to delight everyone.
Can you play on the theme of sugared almonds?
Gladly: sugared almonds are the emblem of the christening. I happily weave them into my tricks — they appear, disappear and change colour, to the delight of young and old alike.
