Frequently asked questions
How does a performance work?
I arrive about an hour beforehand to scope out the booth or room, set up and go over the schedule with you. I then circulate doing close-up magic to attract and hold visitors on your space — an excellent way to draw a crowd and start a conversation. If you'd like, I can work your product or message into my tricks. I stay a minimum of 2 hours (I don't travel for less) and adapt to the flow of your trade show.
What does a magician for a trade show or product launch cost?
The price depends on the duration (from half a day to several days), the venue and your objectives. I work on a free, no-obligation quote: send me the date and location of your trade show or launch in the Île-de-France region, and I'll propose a package tailored to your needs.
How does a magician help attract visitors to a booth?
Close-up magic draws a crowd: a small group that stops attracts others, and every visitor who has just experienced a trick stays to talk with you. It's an effective way to generate traffic on your booth, hold attention and naturally open up a sales conversation.
Can you work our product into your tricks?
Yes, in some cases. I discuss it with you before the event to see what's possible — some products lend themselves to magic better than others. Vacuum cleaners, for instance, are tricky.
How long can you entertain on a booth?
From half a day to a full day, with a minimum of 2 hours. For multi-day trade shows, I plan several sessions broken up by breaks, to keep an engaging pace on your booth without overwhelming visitors. We work out the schedule together based on expected foot traffic.
Does it really attract visitors?
A group that stops attracts others. That's the principle. And people who have experienced a magic trick don't leave without talking to you.
Do we need to set aside space on the booth?
A few square meters is enough. My close-up magic doesn't need a stage — just spectators within arm's reach.
How do I book?
An email with the trade show date, the venue and your objectives. I'll propose a package tailored to you — lollipops for visitors included, on request.
